Missing Daddy

It has been five years since I last saw Daddy's face. He left us five years ago to be with our mighty creator and life has never been the same without him. If he is still with us, he would be 60 years old. Until now, I sometimes daydream that he is still alive. I miss the talk and chit chats. I miss having our family dinner where everyone gets to share the things, experiences, or anything that happened throughout the day, we share jokes, stories just about anything under the sun. And whenever I come home from work then I would sleep right away, my dad would usually go to my room to kiss me goodbye before they go to the shop. I miss him sooo much, I long to hug and kiss him, and tell him "I Love You," when daddy was still with us, I never fail to tell him I love him, so guys if you still have your mom and dad with you, never miss an opportunity to tell them that you love them dearly. You have to tell them that you love them while they're still around and not when they're already gone.

We are very thankful for giving us the best daddy. He may not be a perfect father but he is close to being one...

Me and Daddy

Mommy and Daddy

God keeps his promise and he will not allow you to
be tested beyond your power to remain firm; at the time
you are put to the test, he will give you the strength to
endure it, and so provide you with a way out.

Have a uber great day!

  1. This is such a touching post. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I know over time losing someone so close doesn't always get easier. I'm so glad you were able to experience a so many wonderful things and have a wonderful relationship with your father. I am close with my Dad he is my biggest supporter in love. I love him so much and there isn't a day that goes by I am not grateful for the parents I have and for what they do for me. Thank you for this post! -hugs to you-

  3. awww...
im pretty sure that your dad is watching over you. i played a game before & the ending line is like "as long as you are alive, a part of me will keep on living" & it just made me think that it is indeed true...

as long as we cherish the memories that we have of our deceased loved one, they are still alive.

so im pretty sure that your dad is still alive in your thoughts & is there looking over you

  6. ♥ StardustStephanie - thank you dear. I am happy to hear that you are close with your Dad and you spend a lot of time with him. As we grow older, there will come a time that our parents will have to leave us. While you have the opportunity to be with them, keep on making happy memories.☺ ~hugging you back~

♥ Ads - I do believe with what they call "opposite attracts" they're the perfect example but inspite of their differences, they get along very well and complement each other. yep, you're right they're soulmates ☺

♥ thiamere - thank you sweetie for sharing that line. It is really true, as long as we keep and cherish their memories...in our hearts they will always be alive.

♥ Marj - awwwww, don't cry ate Marj. It's been five years and parang kailan lang noh? Yeah, I remember my Dad was one of the reason why I started blogging, I blog because it always made me feel better, it was my therapy back then and you are one of my first few readers. =)

♥ Jessying ~ thank you dear for your kind words. I agree with you, I know my dad is really happy right now ☺
